My muse is hard to pin down. It’s like a super highway with four lanes going in four directions. This is why I carry a sketchbook around with me everywhere I go. In general, ideas tend to ignite around making conspicuous connections where perhaps there are none, arranging a puzzle of differences to form a new whole.

The name, Broken Tusk Studio, references India's benevolent elephant-headed deity Ganesha. My favorite story about Ganesha's missing tusk is that he broke it off to write the epic Mahabharata, making a personal sacrifice in the name of creativity.
